Background

Tim and Ethan successfully completed their thesis and were selected as finalist for the thesis award! Tim and Ethan were mentored by first year CBE student (Austin Booth) and postdoctoral fellow (Yaguang Zhu).

Summary of Research Project

Tim and Ethan completed studies on examining novel high surface area materials that were capable of moisture-swing direct air capture. They helped build and demonstrate the direct air capture system and developed methods for developing novel absorbents. Well done Ethan and Tim!
